Finally, my 11 years of schooling life has ended. It may seem like its party time to most of you who are still schooling, but for me its only just the beginning of the real LIFE which is mainly bout work, money, more work and more money.

Well, as promised I shall update this post although its like 18days to my finals. But a blog should not be dead, eventhough the owner has so much to do in such little time.. Good Luck to all taking the SPM examination..

You bloggers may think what is the meaning of Stunts 4 Swag. Okei, here is a question to you guys, what would you think of when you read "Stunts 4 Swag"? *take a moment and think bout it will you*

Well, I do not really know how really did this Stunts 4 Swag came into the world, but my hunch is a few rollerblading friends, who came up with the idea of organizing a small competition among themselves. It has now been the 5th time that they had organized this competition, and this time, its in my hometown, Penang.

The weather on that day 11 Oct 2008, was pretty good actually. It suits the skating scenario, maybe just a lil too hot.

You people may think that this people here are all mad, risking their lives performing some nonsense just to impress the crowd, or some hip hop gangster and etc, but for me as a roller, I do not think of it that way. Everyone has their own interest, some maybe cycling, fishing, playing computer and etc. So for us rollers, aggressive inline skating is what makes us happy, its also a form of exercise that keeps us fit. I hope that these few sentences written by me would change your mentality towards the extreme sports community.

Back to the competition, it's divided in to prelims at the Penang Youth Park and finals at Taman Metropolitan Relau. Not much are to be said or written bout something like this I guess, as all the pictures taken, the videos recorded would do all the explanation to you people.

Chan Wei Zhi's 17th Birthday

Before attending this party, I was actually confused of the venue, whether it was N-Park or E-Park. So it was, N-Park. I got there, it was just like any ordinary party, the food, the people, the smiles and laughter. But, this time its quite a bit odd, we rather spend our time playing some hoops than gather round the barbecue pit and cook..

My Room During Exam Season(SPM trial)

I wonder if is everyone the same during this exam season? Will they behave something like this " They'll study book,sleep book,eat book but can't bath book ". That was some of the activities I did for the past 2 weeks during my SPM trials examination. Almost all of my books, notes, just whatever that is in the syllabus is on my table while my stationery are scattered all over my room. Does this reflect me as a non-discipline student or was me just to busy studying for my examination so that I could get good grades? Well here are a few snapshots taken.

Its Merdeka Day 2008 (Independence Day 2008), this was a last minute plan. It has been 3years since my last street skating, so here it is, after 3 years of skating in the Penang International Skate Park, we Dimension are out again.LOL.. =D. You bloggers won't believe our first stop, a bus stop in Tanjung Bungah. It's called the adidas rail. Oh well back to the post, at first there was this rumor about National Service Trainess List is out and all but, my doubtfulness tells me that it was a SCAM because the way to find out if you are chosen is to text your I/C number to some server. Usually its just another one of those companies who just wants to earn money youngsters money. So, the first time I just ignored it. Then sometime during this month(August 08'), one of my friends told me that its not a SCAM this time.So, I tried textin to it and I found myself in this program. After days of trying I finally got into the official website and confirmed that I was selected.

I actually already expected it since the beginning as my sister did not get selected during her time.
To be honest, I actually been looking forward to attend it, many of my friends which attended it said "you may not want to leave on the last day of this program"
I'll just have to miss New Year's Celebration(2009), January intake for college if I go.

Same shit, but woke up late due to alcohol overdose. XD. Had a random walk with my dad, ended up at a Sunday Market at Jalan Gaya.

The concept is almost similar to Penang's Daily Lorong Kulit Market minus the second hand/stolen good. Lots of handicrafts , packed with local and foreign tourist. Quite a number of things caught my eye though.

Sabah Trip (26/6/08 - 2/7/08)

The nite before..

I did not bother to pack until the very last minute, yeah Malaysian attitude. It took me around 30mins to pack, as I only need to pack my clothes, personal hygiene items and etc.

I slept late that nite, around 3 am after a game of DOTA.

Day 1 (Before arriving at Sabah)

I was late already, went to Penang Free School to pass my Interact Club President some club funds, I even have the time to go have my breakfast with Shun Gee. Got home , had a shower and rushed out..

Air Asia, Now Everyone Can Fly

I got on the Boeing 737, it was almost full already, I pity those who are supposed to be on this plane but got caught up in the security check point. So me, my dad, my sis, and the air-steward was the last 4 people to got on the plane, I did not get to sit with my dad or sis though. =[. Sat with some stranger, a student of the same university of my sister, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS). I even got confronted by one of the cabin crew for not turning off my mobile phone. So after taking off, I dozed off due to insufficient sleep the nite before. Woke up all of a sudden without and reasons, went to the plane lavatory took a picture..

Felt hungry, ordered a bowl of curry instant noodles and a bottle of mineral water. Just take a while guess how much will it be? RM 7.00 for the instant noodles and RM 4.00 for the 500ml mineral water. YES!! FREAKING RM11.00. =[. After 2hours and 50 minutes of being 33,000 feet above the sea level , we landed at Kota Kinabalu Airport Terminal 2..

We were picked up by my dad's old collegue, Mr. Liu if I am not mistaken.. We first headed for lunch, I expected something similar with Penang delicacies but it turned out to be different, some Sabah specialities perhaps??

After lunch, we went to the place we came to Sabah, the UMS. Its like a 20minute drive from the Kota Kinabalu town. I expected the university would be a normal one with but its way above my expectations, bigger than the University Sains Malaysia (USM) in Penang. No pictures, was sick after drinking that weird weird soup..LOL.. So we went around the campus searching for the main hall where prestigious event such as registration of freshmen and etc take place. I noticed the banner on one of the hostel wrote "The Beach Campus" but is it true?? I do not know..

After getting to know the UMS, we checked in to our hotel, Diamond Inn. rates @ rm 71- rm 105 per night, located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, which is so convenient. Then, we had a drink at a nearby local coffee shop, I did not quite got comfortable with the cleanliness of the premise. But its item used, and food served caught my attention..

Around 5.30pm. we walked to the nearest mall, City Parade. Its quite big la, something like Penang's Prangin Mall and next to it is Centre Point.

I did not enjoy my time there as the air-conditioner was down and was like a cooking us in a microwave or something. How can you shop or enjoy when you are sweating like a pig?? LOL.. While walking and smelling like ***, I came across this shop, an outdoor activities shop, selling mainly paintball and rock climbing accessories, the pair of knee and elbow pads caught my eye, it's hard to get stuffs like this in the West Of Malaysia.

Well after around an hour of walking we decided to go have a break, got my dad a McD Sundae Cone.. LOL..

Went for dinner at this TRIPLE-storey restaurant, Supertanker.*yes get that rite, triple, tiga, 3* This place is the bomb man, excellent service, food, the atmosphere. and yes its like 100000X better than the Penang's Supertanker Food Court which only sells hawker food.. XD..

Yeah, yeah after dinner we went to this mall quite a distant from town, City Mall to get some items for my sister's new home, Kampung E, UMS. So off we go to Giant Hypermarket. Then again, FOOD.. LOL *imma grow fat..xD* we went to this shop, can't remember the name, it sells all those sweet sweet stuff, "thong sui*... I had this lemonade+sea coconut=??????.. LOL
Got back to the hotel after that but on the way i had tummy-ache.. *must to be much food aite?*

Woke up around 9.00am, got ready and went for breakfast. It is said that there's this very famous and tasty wan tan mee at a nearby coffee shop. We walked there, its like around 500m away from our hotel. We ordered, and waited. I was surprised that the waitress at the coffee shop even flirt with my dad. What a SLUT...

After breakfast we walked all the away to the well-known Filipino handy craft market, which is also located a few blocks away. It was not that bad but the weather kills, but we had other option.

What makes me even baysyok, the market sucks, cramp and etc. I expected more from that so called market *argh*, but it failed me. *Turns left & right* its jus the imitation pearls, bangles abnd those common souvenirs that can be obtained at the airport/local sundry shops. Its not that I want to criticise or what but why bother calling it the FAMOUS FILIPINO MARKET, when its just a common souvenir warehouse??

It like an oven in there, so we left. We continue our journey randomly and reached the waterfront as it was somewhere near the market. It is a nice place but unfortunately, we were there at the wrong time. I believe it is a nite life hangout spot considering all the bistros, pubs & alfrescos with those "NAMES". The concept is something like Queen Elizibeth II in Penang, except this place is wider, has many varieties and a long walk along the bay.

Take a clear look folks, the sea water is clean & clear compared to those sandy beaches in Penang, and shouldn't be the waters in Penang as an island should be clearner than Sabah as a mainland??LOL!!

Anyway, I even saw a club here called BED, and Penang *yes, i m comparing too much* there's also a place called BED but it is not a club. =]. The weather was so hot, so we decided to walk back to the hotel.

Back at the hotel I fell asleep while waiting for this rented car of ours to come by. He was not just late but very very very late. Then he came by, so we drove the car all the way to UMS again. It was supposed to be a 20mins drive but the traffic jam makes the trip around 35mins. Went around the university, making rounds AGAIN, making sure that my sister does lose her way here.LOL.. It is estimated that the distance between my sister's hostel and her school " School Of Science and IT" is at least 1.5km away from each other. We went for a further exploration around the campus, saw a skate park there too, inside the university sports complex.

After many rounds we decided to go the new mall, around 800m away from the main entrance of the university, 1Borneo. This mall is similarly to Queensbay Mall in Penang.*thinks!!*

Low-rise, but a very long stretch of shops. 1 Borneo Mall has those labels e.g Mng, Adidas, Nike, Esprit & etc, just like an ordinary mall but it is still enough to kill my boredom. Had dinner at Kenny Roger's Roasters. Got bored waiting for the meal, so took out the laptop which my dad recently bought for my sister. So got onlin-ed..

Went cruising around the streets of Kota Kinabalu, formely known as Jesselton with a car now, no more walking *bahaha*. The view at night of the waterfront was amazing, no pictures though. My dad drove us to well known place call Sutera Harbour, and yes my dad even blamed me for not wearing a collared t-shirt or else we will be in this club call Jugs. =[ *haih* Sad ain't it? "no chance to have a taste of Sabah clubs".. I was so exhausted, so K.O after my bath.

Another day in paradise? Head down to UMS again *AGAIN???*, for the hostel registrations, i slept in the car, was so tired. When we got there, a major traffic jam indeed *wtf, traffic jam in a university campus?* and the attraction of the day, the big big holy mosque, by looking at it, I think the size of it is as big as the Penang State Mosque.

It is really ridiculous that the management of the university make the students carry all their belongings to the the shuttle bus temporary station, which is located 500m away from the car park. What if, the students came alone, who would help them carry his/her room-full of items?? So we got on one of the shuttle bus.

A 10mins ride to my sister's hostel. On arrival students are supposed to place their luggages on a common area and move on to the registration counters, and yeah another complain from me.. The student's bags are left unattended, it could be stolen rite? If I were a thief, I would just simply walk and get any bag, walk off and no one would even know notice about it. *HOW STUPID CAN THEY BE??* Take a look for yourself people.

While strolling around by myself while my sister and dad completes the registration, I found a few interesting stuff. After registering, I was kinda tortur-ed by my dad and sis, I had to carry her big luggage and her laptop up till the 4th floor which is where her so called house is located. B1-4-9, 3rooms each with 2 double beds and 4 study tables, a huge toilet with 4cubicles in it. First thing's first, it look haunted to me, and very dusty. *I know I complain much* My sis was the first to got to her room, so she got the opportunity to pick the her bed and study desk. I even helped her to undust the bed, arrange her stuffs, was there around 2 hours.

After that we got to 1Borneo Mall again to buy some appliances and grocerries. There 's this AutoShow there, the cars are way better than those on the West Malaysia. By this time my phone had already ran outta battery, so no more pictures.. *sad =[*. Rushed back to UMS as my sis had a seminar at 8pm. Went back to the hotel to settle down a lil while, as it was a full day "so called outing" already but was not for me, I went down to a nearby night market all by myself, although it creeps me to walk alone there because the main purpose is for me to get some souvenirs for my friends. Got myself a magnetic bracelet, which is believe to help circulate the blood. Then head down to one of the backpackers lodge, called Summerlodge I think for a beer or two while enjoying the live band there. On the way there, its quite creepy, the streets of Sabah during the night is so dark.. Well walked back to the hotel and slept..
